*This home is handicap friendly... and if necessary can be easily accessed from the back door closest to the garage. Have small children that require baby sitting? Emme (our daughter)has generously offered to babysit for a fee of $1.50 an hour. Unity gets the fifty cents per hour.

We invite you to our home for a walk through tour and a brief explanation of passive solar gain.
All proceeds go to UNITY IN GREENSBORO.

Our 1674 sq.ft. home is comprised of the following:
- Pre-cast Superior Walls Concrete walls (10 7/8'' upon completion of drywall)
- Six inch acid-stained concrete floors which contains radiant floor heat
- Cream-colored metal roof with radiant barrier underneath
- Five solar tubes, Five clerestory windows
- Fiberglass-framed double-paned windows

Our drive way is a horseshoe so you may be dropped off at the front door if carpooling. Please enter our driveway at the drive closest to the mailbox.

Drive around the home and park out front on the lower side of the drive closer to the road on the sides of the drive way. For your safety we ask that you park on the grass out close to the road but still inside our drive. Our road is like the track at the Daytona 500...
If you are a teacher, school administrator, participant in some kind of group that you feel would enjoy this type of tour please pass this post on to the appropriate parties. School groups with students over ten years old are $2.00 per child as well as adults accompanying the group.
We do one hour classes in passive solar gain for teens and or college students at a reduced cost of $2.00 per person. Please call to make an appointment the week of March 15-22 when all proceeds will go to Unity. We will offer tours and or classes each afternoon that whole week.

There is a class on passive solar gain set for Friday, March 20 at 12:00 for home schooling families and their parents... should Friday be a better day for you. All attending home schooling children are usually over ten years old and accompanied by one or both parents so Friday's 12:00 class promises to be a well-mannered group. If I have a large number of home schoolers and/ or others not home schooling I will offer a second class at 2:00 on Friday, March 20. The class will not exceed 15 students at a time if I have to offer several classes that day.
